We are proud to announce that we have been shortlisted for Consultancy of the Year Award at the highly prestigious Energy Live News TELCA awards. The TELCA awards are decided by a panel of industry experts along with votes and recommendations from customers.
This means that we have been placed in the top 10 energy consultancies in the UK!
Gary Robson, Director of Start Energy spoke of his delight at another nomination for consultancy of the year award, after winning the small consultancy back in 2014, he said “It has shown in our growth from 2014 what we are looking to achieve as an energy consultancy and I am very proud of the team that are key and vital to this at Start Energy. We believe in our stance that we are the best and are showing this on the amount of new customers added to our portfolio on a daily basis. We are in the middle of a move into much larger offices which not only adds jobs to the local area but also helps us in our vital role in helping UK Businesses. We have saved our customers over £3 million in energy costs in the last 6 months alone.”
We are hoping to repeat our 2014 success where we won Small Consultancy of the Year Award. We won the award because of our clarity with customers and the high level of services that we provide. In 2014 Darrell Johnson SME Indirect Sales Channel Head at Npower said “We promote best practice amongst energy brokers and that is why we sponsor the TELCAs. All of the consultancies that made our shortlist were nominated by customers for their excellent service and high performance. Out of all of the small consultancies on the shortlist, we are pleased to recognise Start Energy as the best all-rounder.”
Winning the award in 2014 helped us to improve our supplier relationships and allowed us to add to our extensive range of products and services. Since then we have grown our customer portfolio massively, we have also grown the company itself and have recruited highly skilled and experienced account managers to assist in our growth. Alongside this, we have also moved to a larger office on Bracken Hill Industrial Estate in Peterlee.
